Small Groups

Discipleship is foundational for the spiritual health of individual Christians and/or Christian families. The number one way discipleship occurs is when we do life together (as best as we are able) and that usually takes place in the context of small groups.

What are small groups?

A group of believers that commit to gather together to share their lives, pray, and discuss the biblical text and life applications of the previous weekend's sermon. It's primary purpose is to foster significant Christ-centered relationships centered around the study of God's Word.

When will we meet?

Once a week for 10 week sessions. First session will be mid-Feb to mid April. Second session will be in early May to early July.

What will we do?

Each meeting will include:

Sharing: (15-30 min) what is happening in our lives & prayer requests.

Study: (45 min) a portion of God's Word from the previous week's sermon. The goal is to learn how to apply and live out our Christianity in our day-to-day experiences and relationships.

Prayer: (15-30 min) Learn how to care for one another as Christ commanded - praying, listening, meeting needs, encouraging, and even challenging one another as needed.

Each group will also do service projects and have social gatherings.

What is required?

Sign up for a ten week session (new attendees have the first 3 weeks to decide if they will opt in for the rest of the session or move along)

At the end of each session everyone fills out a brief evaluation form and answer the following: 1) I will continue in this group 2) I will be taking a break 3) I will try a new group
